Privacy Policy
HotelWebWorks.com ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and the LGPD.
Information we collect
When you request a proposal, run a tool, or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, hotel name, location, email address, phone number (if you give one), and your message. We also collect standard, privacy-respecting analytics data — pages viewed, device type, referring page, and approximate (city-level) location — to understand and improve our site.
How we use it, and our legal bases
We use your information solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, provide our services, and improve our website. Under the GDPR, our legal bases are your consent (for analytics cookies and for optional calls/texts), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (responding to and fulfilling your inquiry), and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see what is working. Analytics and any marketing cookies are set to denied by default (Google Consent Mode) and load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the banner or clearing cookies, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.
Who we share it with (processors)
We share data only with the service providers who help us operate, each under confidentiality and data-processing obligations, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery (server logs, security).
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — consent-gated website analytics.
- Our customer-relationship system (CRM) — storing and responding to the inquiries you submit.
We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention
We retain inquiry and proposal data only as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business and legal-record purposes — typically up to 24 months after our last contact — and then delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis per our Google Analytics configuration. You may ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD)
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information, but you may still exercise these rights. Brazilian users hold the equivalent rights under the LGPD.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: we do not sell or share your personal information; if that ever changes we will provide a working opt-out here first. To exercise any right, email us or use the contact form below; we will respond within the timeframes the applicable law requires and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our processors may handle data in the U.S. and elsewhere. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Contact
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email [email protected] or use our contact form.
